Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy outlines how the website Kube.new ("the Website"), which is owned and operated by Glass Devtools, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, protects, and shares information about you when you access or use our Website. Your privacy is of paramount importance to us, and we are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with this policy.
1. Collection of Personal Information
When you register or interact with our services, we collect information that identifies you, such as your name, email address, and any additional information you provide voluntarily. We do not directly collect passwords or other secure data - this is done through our trusted partners.
2. Cookies
A cookie is a small text file stored on your computer or mobile device by a website's server. We use cookies to authenticate users, remember preferences, and tailor our services to provide a better user experience. Cookies help us understand how you interact with our site, enabling us to improve our services based on user behavior.
3. Information We Collect
Your account. When you sign up, we store your email address and username. Your password is held by our login provider, and we never see it. We also store account information like the day you joined, how many editor AI credits you have left, your profile's description, and other fields you provide us. We use third parties to handle username/password and payment information.
Games you make. The games you build are stored on our servers, along with their thumbnails, and the number of times each one has been played and liked. We store the AI chats you use when building your game, and all file uploads from you and the AI.
Playing games. When you join a game, we record that play session. We may publicly display the games you play. We may store chat messages you send and other actions you take while playing the game.
Cookies. A cookie is a text file stored in your browser. We use cookies on our website to remember games you played and edited, handle launching of the desktop app, and track basic analytics, device information, and usage.
4. Information Games Collect
When you join your game or someone else's game, that game can access your username, user ID, and basic information necessary to run the game like location, camera angle, and inputs being pressed. Game servers may store derived information about your account like scores, leaderboards, and time played. This information is currently temporary and erased when the server shuts down.
5. Sharing Personal Information
We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third parties. We may share your information with trusted partners and service providers, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. This includes analytics for traffic analysis. We may also share information when it's necessary to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect our or others' rights, property, or safety.
6. Account Deletion
If you want to delete your account - and the information associated with it - you may do so by contacting us at support@kube.new. Please contact us using the email address associated with your account, requesting the deletion and confirming your consent to lose all the information stored on your account.
7. Your Public Information
Other people can see your username, profile information, and games you publish. Your email is never shown to others. The games you've marked private are never shown to others. Anyone can read your public profile and published games, and search engines can list them.
8. Children Under Thirteen
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of thirteen.
